Waterproofing: The exclusive Novadry component is guaranteed to keep you dry even in a heavy downpour. In the rain simulator, the jacket spent 4 hrs under the equivalent of a 100L/hr/m² shower without the tiniest drop getting through the product. The component's waterproofing is guaranteed to withstand more than 5,000 mm of water pressure. All seams are 100% watertight.

Hood: The buttoned hood is removable. Its ergonomical design that conforms to the shape of the head is very effective

Protection of documents and accessories: Two closable inner pockets, one with a zip, can be used to keep your documents and accessories safe.

Wrist adjustment: The cuffs have button plackets so that you can adjust the tightening at your wrist.

Hand warmer pockets: Two big hand warmer, zip pockets let you protect your hands from the wind and rain, and keep your accessories safe too.

Jacket fastening: The jacket closes with buttons and a central injection-moulded plastic zip that is resistant to rust from salt thanks to the specific shape of the teeth. With the double button closure + zip, you can adapt your reefer jacket to suit the weather.

What is a waterproofing test or "shower test"? Approved test where the garment is placed under a shower simulating different weather conditions. All our products are certified 100% waterproof having been tested for 4+ hours in rain of 100 L/h/m² to 450 L/h/m² depending on the product use. To put this into perspective, the highest recorded rainfall was in the USA in 1942, when 174 L/h/m² fell over 4.5 hours (NOAA). The average rainfall in Paris is 2 L/h/m² .

Novadry recreates storm conditions in our rain simulator. Under these conditions, after 4 hours under a shower of 100L/hr/sqm, our sailing jacket still kept the user dry.
Nautia BR component with a waterproof level over 5000mm. Water repellent properties exceed level 3. Resistance to Evaporative Transfer equal to 12.
Stock advice
Store in a dry place, but do not leave NOVADRY® garments on a heat source such as a radiator, as this may damage the breathable membrane or coating.
